TO LEARN
One goal is to learn something new during the season. It could be learning how to code, how to use power tools, or something about ourselves. 2246Â is all about building, not just our robot, but our characteristics as a team.
THIS YEARS COMPETITION!
This Star Wars based competition inspires teams to build a robot capable of launching balls into given ports. These balls represent energy cells that will power up the shield generator. There is also a wheel that must be spun or set on a specific color. Once the warning bell rings, robots are given a chance to attach and lift up onto the scale. If the scale is level with robots attached, more points will be rewarded!
HISTORY
Our home town is a little slice of land in northern Michigan called Johannesburg. Our school was built in 1903 and about a hundred years later our robotics team was founded.
